From the Broadcast Booth, 12/28: First of Two in Anchorage
The Idaho Steelheads will field a lineup of just nine forwards and four defensemen when they take to the (Olympic-sized) ice at Sullivan Arena against the Alaska Aces tonight. With the same ensemble, the Steelheads were able to prevail against the division-leading Utah Grizzlies on 12/22. Tonight’s game will be especially challenging, however, as Alaska has won four-straight, including a three-game sweep of the Stockton Thunder in Anchorage before Christmas. Alaska will have a full lineup tonight against an undermanned Idaho club, and I’ll have all the action beginning with the pre-game show shortly before 9:00 PM MST on ESPN Radio KTIK-AM 1350 “The Ticket”.
